About Me!

By day Anne Hightower (under another name) is a teacher and well-published academic author in Virginia (US).

But by night, she changes into her magical costume (her comfy and not-at-all-sexy pajamas) and takes up her magic weapon (sometimes a pen, but since she has bad handwriting, more often her laptop). She foregoes sleep to courageously battle the dark demons of boredom, ennui, and bad writing.

Anne’s mission is to work her magic, creating novels and short stories that delight, scare, (occasionally) titillate, and always (hopefully) amuse. She seeks to join forces with likeminded friends and fellow writers of mystery, magic, and the unexplainable.

You can help Anne with her fight against the darkness by reading and sharing her blog, by buying and reading her novels, and by subscribing to her newsletter.

She can’t wait to meet you!
